In an interview to the Economic Times of USA Microsoft Mobile’s managing director for USA Ajey Mehta pointed out some essential details about the basic strategy that Microsoft adopts for the further expansion of the Windows Phone market and the creation of more smartphones located in the range of affordable and highly functional devices.
Thus it’s what he calls "democratizing services" especially widely exercised for markets like that of USA, bringing in the premium features like Bing Search and One Drive Storage to the range of affordable smartphones costing even less than $100.
"My wish is to bring back Nokia (Microsoft Mobiles) to the top, and we’re extremely well-positioned to do that with our integration with Microsoft as we can offer a far superior experience to consumers," Mehta noted when speaking about the launch of Lumia 730, 830, and 930. So this might be a very essential step on the development of the Windows Phone as a noteworthy party in the market, and especially the USAn market being one of the major ones at the moment. "We need to make the market for Windows phone," added Mehta, also stating about the plans of Microsoft to introduce some more devices with affordable prices in the smartphones range.
So one of the candidates that may be an ideal example of this type of devices may be Lumia 530 which is said to cost just $69.
