Did you know that the world's most expensive smartphone costs $16.5 million?

Yup, you read the headline correctly, and no, the figure mentioned there isn't in Zimbabwean dollars. The world's most expensive smartphone does cost over $16.5 million and it is a unique, hand-crafted piece of bling. What you see pictured is the iPhone 5 Black Diamond edition by Stuart Hughes. If you're wondering where the luxury handset got its name from, just take a look at its home button. The key has been replaced with a 26-carat flawless black deep cut diamond. This, however, is just one of the hundreds of gems covering the phone's surface.

About the materials used in it making
The chassis of this fabulous iPhone 5 has been inlaid with about 600 flawless white diamonds and 53 more of them have been used to recreate the Apple logo on the back. Speaking of the back, that's a full gold outfit you see and a piece of solid gold is used for the logo's foundation. As for the screen, it boasts a layer of sapphire glass that's more resistant to damage than the scratch resistant glasses commonly used in modern smartphones.

All this gold and the precious stones have taken a toll on the phone's weight, however. Just the gold that has been put into the device tips the scales at 135 grams, which is 23 grams more than what the iPhone 5 originally weighs. Nevertheless, something tells us that the phone's owner wouldn't be bothered by its weight. Speaking of which, the iPhone 5 Black Diamond is owned by a Chinese businessman.

Apple's "Proactive" to compete with Google Now

Mei 2015 - Other colours include white/silver, light green and blue, the latter of which would be our pick. Both phones have dual rear cameras and apart from the separate lenses (which only slightly protrude from the back of the case) the layout is just like the iPhone's. phone with them just about, well we have collected a lot of data from the field directly and from many other blogs so very complete his discussion here about Mei 2015, on this blog we also have to provide the latest automotive information from all the brands associated with the automobile. ok please continue reading:

Recently sources have suggested that apple is working hard to beat the competition of Google Now with a new service codenamed "Proactive".
While Google Now which is available on iOS devices and Microsoft's Cortana available on Microsoft 10, Android and iOS devices, it's time for Apple to make their move too.

Proactive will have the same function as Google Now and reports from 9to5mac suggest that Proactive will provide information based on user data and usage. It seems that Proactive will be a replacement for "Spotlight" search feature and it's going to be located on the left side of the homescreen.

This service or we could say "digital assistant" is rumored to come along with a lot revolutionary features which will be mentioned below.

Apple's main focus with this service is going to be on sophisticating and improving the maps and the information it displays. One of the improvements could be on Map's Points of interest that could include an augmented reality view to identify or suggest POIs. All you would have to do is point your iPhone camera to a restaurant and it would display you an augmented reality view of the menu, there will be also a feature called "Browse around me" that will show points of interest based on previous searches and preferences.

"Browse around me" is very likely to be in the new iOS 9, unlike the very extravagant and sophisticated augmented reality view feature.
There might be also features based on usage. Proactive could also be a trigger to push notifications of some apps like calendar, in order to avoid missing events, suggests 9to5mac.

Apple's Proactive isn't going to support only their own apps and data. Apple will allow developers to integrate their app in iOS's search results and Siri too. Apple will do that through a service codenamed "Breadcrumbs". This service helps Siri and Proactive to index parts of apps that have been recently used, which is kinda similar to Google's announced App Indexing feature for android.
Users will be happy to have these kind of features on their phone but no doubt that many of them would be concerned about their privacy because this new service would have much deeper access into their data but sources suggest that Proactive will provide information while at the same time respecting users' privacy preferences.

It is not quiet sure if "Proactive" will be shipped in the new iOS 9 because this service is expected to come alongside with many new revolutionary features and most of them would still not be ready to get launched for the iOS 9. However, it is sure that Apple is already working on making something like this happen. Apple has started working on this long time ago and roots of the so called "Proactive" can be traced back to Apple's 2013 acquisition of personal assistant app called "Cue", which enabled users to "know what's next" based on email information and calendar.

While iOS has made a lot of improvements regarding the search and notifications, Proactive could really be the next step and we will be able to find that out in Apple's annual World Wide Developer Conference on June 8.

Android M Preview, Release Date And New Features

According to the yearly upgrade pattern, Google recently released the android M at I/O 2015. Android M is successor of android Lollipop. In every android version the developers at Google make some remarkable improvements and this time they have come up with an android version that lets its users to control the apps permissions, that will give much better standby, android pay, UI improvements and fingerprint sensors.

android M logo

Lets see what’s new in the Android M

Android M New Features

1. App Permissions : The android app permissions have been changed completely, since in previous versions of android the app uses all permissions that it require, whether it is a hardware resource, android system resource or an app resource. But in android M, users will be able to control which permissions to grant and which permissions to revoke. You can control all permissions in app settings.

2. App Links : When you tap a link in any android app then you will see some options to open the link. But with android M this feature has been changed. Any internet links will offer the chance to set any app with a built-in browser as the default for opening those kind of links. With Android M, it’ll be able to self-verify links. If it’s a Twitter link, it’ll automatically open in the Twitter app. If it’s a YouTube video, it’ll open in the YouTube app. The links will be completely automated.

3. Android Pay : Android Pay is the latest iteration of mobile payments used by Google. With android Pay you will be able to make payments with NFC at stores without letting them to know your credit card details, because they are kept private. The service will work with major cards, US carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) as well as a variety of stores: McDonald's, Subway, Best Buy, Coca Cola, Pepsi.

4. Fingerprint Sensor : The fingerprint sensor is not a new thing in android. Samsung has already given its own fingerprint sensor in the Galaxy S6. The fingerprint sensor can be used to unlock your Nexus device or any other smartphone, purchase apps from play store and make payments via android pay. Google has made this feature mandatory in android M and you can expect it to see even in mid range android smartphones later this year.

5. Battery Standby : Google has also introduced a new function in android M called ‘Doze’. This technology make use of accelerometer to detect the motion of the device. If the device is lying still on a table or hasn’t been moved for a while then the background apps will be reduced to increase the battery standby. Google compared two nexus 9 devices one running Lollipop and other running android M preview in Doze mode, and the result was that the Nexus device which was running android M preview gave double the standby. You can still receive priority notifications and can hear alarms in Doze mode.

6. Auto Backup & Restore Of Apps : Android M will automatically backup and restore app data on your phone. The data backup will be done once per day, when the device is idle or connected to Wi-Fi. The app data will be saved to Google Drive associated with the phone’s Google account. The uploaded file size will be 25 MB or less. The data will be encrypted and suppose if you lost your phone or delete some apps then when ou again install these apps then the app will be restored automatically.

7. New App Drawer : Android M has got the newest app drawer and totally different from its previous versions. The new app drawer scrolls vertically instead of horizontally, like Windows Phone 8. At the top of the app drawer screen you will see four recently used apps and below it you will see apps arranged alphabetically. A search bar is also given at the top of recent apps.

android M app drawer

8. Android M RAM Manager : Android M has its own RAM manager. With this inbuilt RAM manager the users will be able to control which apps are consuming more memory and making the device slow. After finding these apps the user can uninstall these useless apps to increase device performance. Also android M gives a remark at the top of RAM manager showing ‘Good Performance’ which means that your android M smartphone is running well without lags. There is no need to install third party RAM manager apps on android M.

9. Adoptable Storage Devices : This is a new feature in android M and is the most expected feature that an every android user wants, that is the ability to install android apps on sdcard or USB storage. The android M can format sdcard and USB flash drives in such a way so that they can be used as internal storage space. Now with this feature you can install apps on sdcard or USB drives or even move apps data between sdcard and phone. The stored data is totally encrypted.

10. Google Now : Google Now is now smarter than ever. Google Now's context awareness understand over 100 million different places, so when you ask ''How far is it to there'' Google Now know exactly which ''there'' you're referring to. This awareness is compounded by Google's Knowledge Graph, which understands one billion different entities, from sports teams to gas stations, TV shows to recipes.

11. Google Photos : Google Photos is now standalone photo and video storage and sharing service that provides unlimited free storage for up to 16 MP photos and 1080p video. That is seriously impressive.

12. USB Type-C : With USB Type-C android M can be able to charge other smartphones, charge itself or transfer data. The feature is useful if we can charge a phone from a similar phone having the same battery specifications otherwise we can still charge android phones having low voltage battery with an android phone having OTG support
.
13. Bluetooth stylus support : The OS now includes improved support for Bluetooth stylus devices.

14. Improved Bluetooth Low Energy Scanning : A new approach to scanning method cuts down on the power required to perform the scan, provided the developer of the app implements the feature.

15. Hotspot 2.0 Release 1 support : Support for Hotspot 2.0 in devices like Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 to automatically connect to Hotspot 2.0 networks when you enter the area.

16. 4K Display Mode : Android M now supports display resolutions up to 4K.

17. Improved Calculator : Google added a few extra functions to the Calculator app, namely the ability to switch between radians and degree and inverse sine, cosine and tangent functions. But there is still no percentage button.

18. 5 GHz Hotspot Access : M now allows you to setup your phone's hotspot on the far less crowded 5GHz band on compatible devices.

19. Do Not Disturb Quick Setting : M has a new Do not disturb button in the notifications, which is essentially the previous Interruptions feature. You can choose between Total silence mode, Alarms only mode, or Priority only mode. You can customize these options from the notifications or the Settings app.

20. Custom Chrome Tabs : So many apps today have a web component that forces you to jump between a browser and the app or as web view embedded into the app. The Chrome team proposes a different solution - style Chrome to look like a part of the app. The app can launch a custom Chrome tab, style it and add buttons to make it feel almost like a native part of the app.

Availability

The android M is currently available to download on Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus player.

Android M Release Date

The android M will be released in Q3, 2015.

If you have more info about android M then please share via comments and if you like the article then please share it.

Two days ago Google has just started their annual  Google I/O conference to introduce the latest news starting from Android M the newest mobile OS to android wear, new features and so on.Here are some of the amazing stuff that Google has introduced in the first day of the conference.

Android M : The newest android version
Good news for those who have Android devices: Google in the first day of the conference decided to debut Android M, the newest android version. Android M has a lot new features, updates, and other things too.
Just as it was expected, Google's focus was on fixing bugs from the previous Android lollipop version however the most important thing or probably the best thing about the Android M is the work that has been done regarding security and privacy. Google managed to boost the security by adding app permissions with a new build. That means if you install an app and it asks about permissions you don't have to agree with all of them. One now have choice as to which permission to agree with and those ones no to be accepted especially when they don't make any sense to you. In addition to this, one can see which features are being used by apps, for example which apps have access to your mic or camera.
There has been a focus on the battery too with features like doze that helps with energy management, thus saving more power and having a better battery life. Android M is coming with USB-C support, which ensures faster charging

Android Pay
This was one of the expected features that was about to come out in 2015. Google said that they will expand android pay with mobile providers to pre-install the feature on new devices. This new payment service will be available at 700000 stores and you can make payments by verifying your fingerprint.

Offline services
Another reason to be excited about 2015 is offline connectivity. Finally, we will be able to use Google Maps even while offline.  It was announced in the first day of the conference and it will be launched later this year. This is not the first offline service that Google is providing to us.
A few months ago Google has launched YouTube offline and offline support for chrome on which you can open a few pages with no internet. Since android is available all over the world, they launched the offline services mostly for developing countries which are very likely to have problems with internet connection.

Google Photos
One of the best news from the I/O conference no doubt it's Google Photos. This app offer unlimited storage to back up photos and browse them any time needed, but only for up to 16MP pictures and 1080p videos. This is an amazing solution for those who take a lot of photos and don't want to worry about the storage. However, it's not the only thing this app does. This app also does an excellent job in terms of organizing the images; now we don't have to use tags to sort the images for people and places for example. It provides intelligent search too. To select the images you want, you no longer have the need to tap each of them, all you need is a single tap and slide your fingers over the images you want.
Google Photos is available to download for android and iOS devices.

Jump VR videos
GoPro and Google paired up to create a 360° camera rig to capture videos for the VR. You will be able to watch these kind of videos on YouTube.

Now on Tap
The newest thing that was introduced in the I/O conference is the Now On Tap feature.
What this feature does, is displaying you information based on what you are looking at your screen. For example you are listening to skrillex and pause to ask Google "what's his real name" and it will know who you are asking for without mentioning the artists name.
So basically,  you can pull up information with this feature no matter what you are doing or where you are.

Other things
announced in the first day of the I/O conference include: Project brillo, HBO streaming service available on Android TV and Chromecast, Google Cardboard support now iOS too, and many other things as well.

In the second day of the conference Google announced in the conference some projects like: Project Jacquard (an initiative to make clothes into wearables), Project Vault (an initiative to make an Ultra Secure SD Card), Project Abacus (an initiative for better authentication) and the last one, actually the most important Project Ara which is a revolutionary project which would allow any of us to build a smartphone just like a lego with the components like: Camera, screen, processors etc.
There is yet many more things to come at the conference because it lasts a few days and what we learned from this conference is that technology is definitely going forward super fast.

Do you find yourself on auto-pilot, stuck in the same unsatisfying loop from day to day? Or maybe you are in a stressful season of life, whether it’s starting a new job, having a baby, moving, or balancing school and work and a social life. No matter where you’re at – be it waiting for the next big adventure in life, or riding out the wave – one thing is certain: we could all use a little more happiness throughout our day. Here are a few simple ways to squeeze the most happiness out of every moment!

11. Wake Up With Intentional Gratitude

Image via Creative Commons (https://www.flickr.com/photos/125771003@N03/14905996838/in/photolist-oHc8xu-4CxSm6-fd5nCn-4T6Yfi-bXiWfG-c3P7es-8warK4-4eBd6J-h6Mo5P-63sdeM-9kfGj8-H1bAg-e1SgEW-aFeJYd-4eUs5i-pPvee-4Z3Ru-5LZPUp-5LZ3rG-eTxVEr-JXmEq-bXibmQ-5cRAAE-6iWZVX-dfEuED-7NCyLZ-gsUCmG-7e47Jo-7wQfbw-NnvLE-bm7bmP-3zCnnG-3BYENt-aCJzNe-5SzNht-4pTpda-6KpjWU-g1saQV-5N5ayZ-jyuFL-eVpaoS-8exiuK-cUiDgj-6KpjVE-5s6uxN-9QgcUp-itMVy-pUispr-7ngH5Z-4EeRCh) with alterations
Mornings are hard, believe me, I know. So before your feet even touch the floor, before reality kicks in and the stress of the day starts chipping away at you, take a few minutes to be thankful. A recent study by the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology suggests that those who consciously focus on blessings receive multiple emotional and interpersonal benefits. But don’t let science dictate your decision – try it out for yourself! Start small, with three simple things you are grateful for. Maybe all you can muster when the alarm goes off is, “coffee, mug, creamer,” but I bet that will be the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had!

10. Pick Out Your Best Quality – And Flaunt It!

Image via Creative Commons (https://www.flickr.com/photos/acousticskyy/4395455002/in/photolist-7GpRCW-kG2A7h-61MVsD-jdgvm4-6nUWsb-5y2g69-9yDNXt-cUB5sf-38FpHD-oLe5oP-8Ss3EQ-ni25zM-aCE4UB-5tVPj2-6AmGqG-hGAMhS-6r9bSt-fv8Cgi-51DNiZ-dTYSVo-HKPYv-8z9DBc-fv3rsr-6pqpKj-2UbzFH-5W5BiA-9AKYfu-4oP1FG-amX7AG-iipHgu-5wv8Pv-5dVprx-57r5H4-cVAxv-f1UVAt-36rGC-oC7koZ-oAjSG7-8BrLxf-jKCsTu-jfcL4Y-pMwUkG-4i1CsV-eajzXN-bqyH9i-ehEGri-dcrJWr-eUgogF-7VAYDA-5faKer)
Now that you have a brand new attitude of gratitude about the world around you, it’s time to take a good long look at yourself. No seriously, go look at yourself in a mirror. What do you see? Vibrant eyes, a stunning smile, toned arms, legs for days? Maybe you have the kind of hair that is just beautiful no matter what you do with it. Are your eyelashes long and beautiful even without mascara? If so, I’m jealous. Everyone has at least one thing about themselves they know is pretty awesome. So, flaunt it! (with reasonable modesty, of course.) When you feel confident about yourself, the day seems much less intimidating. Still don’t know what your best quality is? Ask a friend!

9. Dream Big; Start Small

Everyone knows that the journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step, (thanks to Lau-Tzu), but… what does that look like for you and me? This is a two parter, so bare with me. First of all, we need to have goals. Big goals. Big, scary, “feel like it’s never gonna happen” kind of goals. That’s your thousand mile journey. But don’t stop there! It’s not enough just to know what you want. Don’t let your dreams collect dust and turn into what could have been. Plan out what you can be doing right now to achieve those goals. Is it skipping the morning latte and putting that money in a savings account for a plane ticket to Italy? Maybe you need to do some research on trails and hiking gear for that mountain you’ve always wanted to climb, or develop a character for the novel you’ve always meant to finish. Whatever it is, you can make it happen, one day, one dollar, one draft at a time.

8. Do Something Good For Someone Else

There is no better way to get over a bad mood than to do something good for someone else. Just a simple act of kindness once a day will bring so much light and life into your world, and will open doors you never thought existed! This can be anywhere from taking a friend out to lunch, to writing a personal note to a co-worker going through a rough time, or leaving a random encouraging note on a stranger’s car or on the seat of the bus. Even just giving out compliments can be so life-giving in a world that is all too ready to tell us how we’re not measuring up to it’s standards.

7. Create Space

Often times, less is more. Maybe the most important thing you could add to your day is more space. Let me be clear here, “space” does not refer to sitting in front of the tv watching Netflix, or catching up on the latest news. Although all of these things have their benefits (some more obvious than others), the purpose of space is to carve out some purposeful, relaxing, solitude, to quiet the voices and influences of the world, and spend time with yourself and your thoughts. This could look like journaling for a few minutes each evening with a cup of tea, or taking part of your lunch break to find a quiet spot in the park and just listen to the birds in the trees. This probably means taking a few things off your plate, but between you and me, it’s totally worth it.

6. Take The Stairs

This is all about finding little ways to get the blood pumping and integrating more physical activity into your life. If you’re anything like me, that last sentence probably flew right over your head, and you’re already moving on to #5. BUT WAIT! This is important. I’m not saying you have to go to the gym for 30 minutes a day, or run three miles every morning (I’m a blogger, not a doctor after all). I’m just saying that science has proven time and time again how physical activity positively influences our attitude and outlook on life. So take the stairs instead of the elevator. Get off one bus stop before yours and walk a few extra blocks. Purposefully park in the furthest away spot in the parking lot and burn off a few calories. It’s the little things. Which brings us to our next point...

5. Celebrate The Small Things

This one is pretty simple – take time to acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments, both big and small. Are you rocking that new outfit you bought at Goodwill over the weekend? Snap a shameless selfie. Get all your work done ahead of schedule? High five a co-worker. Went a whole week without Facebook stalking your ex? That deserves a bubble bath. It’s all about finding joy in the spaces in between your huge accomplishments.

4. Get More Sleep

We spend a third of our lives sleeping, so clearly it’s pretty important. Chances are, you’re not getting nearly enough of it. In this interesting study, research found that people who take an afternoon nap are desensitized to negative feelings, and more receptive to positive feelings. That’s a win-win right there.

3. Go Outside

Remember when you were little and you would tell your parents you were bored and begged them to entertain you and they half heartedly pleaded with you to go play outside? Maybe that was just me. Either way, they were on to something. Studies show that as little as 20 minutes outside can drastically improve your mood and strengthen memory. You can combine your adult recess with your goal to create more space by taking your lunch break in a park, or get your outdoor time while exercising.

2. Be More Social

Ironically, in the age of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, texting, SnapChat, and other forms of social media, making a personal connection has never been more elusive. While these platforms have brought us many wonderful things, actual relationships seem to be left on the back burner. So, reach outside of your comfort zone and have a face to face conversation with a co-worker, or the guy sitting next to you on the bus. Call your mom and tell her something you’ve never told anyone before. Visit your brother and remind him of that one summer the air conditioner broke and you both snuck downstairs and made a fort and grabbed all the frozen veggies from the freezer and piled them on your head. (Just me again? huh.) The point is to make a real connection, or to keep investing in those relationships close to you.

You knew it was coming. Happy people have a habit of showing it – so fake it till you make it!
